The consultant will be expected to: • Submit to OHCHR monthly reports outlining progress and gaps in the process of incorporation and application of human rights principles and standards – including related to gender equality - to the work of the Police in Ethiopia. • Submit written comments to at least ten legal frameworks governing the work of the Police in Ethiopia – such as policies, laws and Standard Operating Procedures – in view of addressing human rights gaps. • Support at least one national police training institution in undertaking a human rights audit of modules of its curriculum. • Conduct at least six trainings (and/or ToTs) targeting police officials throughout the consultancy. • Submit training and/or mission reports following activities across Ethiopia. • Provide a final report with a detailed analysis of the status of incorporation and application of human rights principles and standards to the work of the Police in Ethiopia.
