The position is in the Integrated Office of the Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator (henceforth the Integrated Office) for Afghanistan. The incumbent will report to the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator (DSRSG/RC/HC) and work closely with the Political pillar especially on development related aspects of the political engagement process. The Integrated Office comprises the following entities: Aid Coordination and Effectiveness Unit; Resident Coordinator's Office; Risk Management Coordination Section (RMCS); Mine Action, and works closely with the Strategic Trust Fund for Afghanistan. These entities are located in Kabul. The incumbent will oversee the Units under the Development pillar of the Mission.
