The Head of the ITC EU Liaison Office will be directly supervised by Chef de Cabinet in the Office of the Executive Director. General guidance will be provided by the ITC Funder Focal Point(s) for the EU as well as the ITC’s Deputy Executive Director. The goal of this job function is to: • ensure an effective management and positioning of ITC relations with the European Union in Brussels. • Contribute to fundraising for ITC programs and activities facilitated through Brussels. • Management of the ITC relationship with Brussels based bilateral and the other relevant stakeholders, including the Office of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and WCO as well as the Belgian Government. • Represent and promote ITC’s interests within the Commission services and leadership as well as other Brussels based stakeholders relevant to ITC fundraising and strategic goals, while playing a pivotal role in securing project funds from European Union institutions and programmes.
