The assignment will be carried out under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator and in cooperation with the GLO.ACT National Project Officers. In line with the GLO.ACT’s Communications and Visibility Plan and working with the GLO.ACT Project Team at HQ and the GLO.ACT National Project Officers, the consultant will perform the following specific tasks: • Lead consultations and work to establish a GLO.ACT Women’s Network chapter for South Asia, ensuring the involvement and engagement of key stakeholders. • Develop GLO.ACT's results-based narrative report, aligned with monitoring, evaluation, and learning outcomes, and embed it into key communication outputs such as Country Overviews, Country Reports, and Annual Reports. • Lead the development of concept notes and project documents for resource mobilization, including ad hoc initiatives and as identified in the HTMSS pipeline. • Liaise with partner countries and other donor entities on resource mobilization; work closely with UNODC field offices and GLO.ACT field experts on implementation arrangements, potential partnerships, and detailed project specifications. • Develop technical publications, concept notes, and background papers on trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants for selected countries in Central Asia and South Asia. • Lead the organization of regional and national workshops (including online), namely, GLO.ACT Women’s Network seminars, Advisory Board Meeting, Project Steering Committee, and Expert Group Meetings. • Develop stakeholder engagement strategy for GLO.ACT partner countries and manage key relationships alongside national teams. • Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for high-level workshops by leading the event, guiding the flow, facilitating discussions to ensure active participation, and effectively communicating key messages and objectives to ensure they are understood and retained by participants. • Develop communication and visibility inputs for relevant meetings, including Project Steering Committee (PSC) meetings, Project Coordination Meetings, Focal Point Meetings, side events, and other activities to effectively disseminate project results. • Review external communications deliverables (social media outputs, webpages, reports, publications) from the GLO.ACT team by providing technical expertise to ensure adherence to donor requirements and priorities, as well with UN quality standards. • Collaborate with the HTMSS Communications Officer and the UNODC Advocacy Section to manage outreach opportunities at events and locations, utilizing available communication tools, including multimedia.
