2020 YPP APPLICATIONS
2020 YPP applications are still in the process of screening and evaluation (thank you for your patience!). Candidates who are convoked (or not) will be notified soon. For convoked candidates, we will be sure to provide sufficient time in advance for examination preparation.
Reminder: Please beware of fraudulent for-profit companies that sell services related to UN YPP. Such companies are in no way supported or endorsed by the UN.

2020 YPP EXAMS – APPLICATION SCREENING & EARLY PREP
Waiting to hear about the outcome of your 2020 YPP application? Applications are being screened and candidates should expect to hear from us within the next month or so. Candidates who will be invited to sit the exam will get access to the online testing platform, along with sample exam materials and suggested reading lists.
In the meantime, the United Nations Publications has curated a selection of readings relevant to the exam areas. These lists of readings for each subject can be found on UN iLibrary. (Note: these are not the “official” suggested reading lists)

Please beware of entities that are misusing the UN name, acronym and/or emblem and offering YPP examination preparation services for a fee. One such known entity, named “YPUN,” which also conducts activities under the name “International Relations Career Challenge,” is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by the United Nations. YPUN has engaged in illegal activities, such as the sale of YPP exam materials, which are UN property. Unauthorized disclosure of any portion of a YPP exam constitutes theft of United Nations property. Additionally, YPUN charges fees for preparation materials that the UN provides at no cost. YPUN is also misrepresenting itself as being part of or affiliated with the United Nations, including via its social media accounts.

One such known entity, named “YPUN”, is illegally selling examination materials that are property of the United Nations. YPUN is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by the United Nations. Unauthorized disclosure of any portion of a YPP exam constitutes theft of United Nations property. If these activities involve the cooperation of YPP candidates, such action is in violation of the integrity statement that all candidates agreed to before beginning a YPP exam. Any candidate found to have engaged in any such activity or other fraudulent or prohibited activities will face, at a minimum, immediate disqualification from the YPP examination process, including in the future, and any employment with the United Nations. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE UNITED NATIONS IS NOT COLLABORATING OR PARTNERING WITH ANY COMPANIES OFFERING YPP-RELATED SERVICES OF ANY KIND.
