Expected duration

The duration of the contract is 6.5 months, from 15 April 2021 to 31 October 2021.

Duties and Responsibilities

In order to successfully deliver all these products, the consultant will be expected to accomplish the following tasks:

Research and consultation: to seek out background information for informing the videos and other products and for crafting compelling draft storylines which will be presented to, and approved by, BRS;

Graphic design: to produce a visual identity for the COPs and for the SC-20 anniversary, both of which refer back to previous COPs and BRS visual identities but which are both fresh, innovative, and attractive in their own right, as well as for standardized deployment across the various products including the information packages, the videos, the pin badges, etc.;

Video film shooting and interview of at least 20 prominent policy-makers, for the “Twenty Voices for Twenty Years” series, and for the three Summary Videos;

Editing, cutting, and balancing of audio and visual material, for the “Twenty Voices for Twenty Years” series, and for the three Summary Videos;

Provide cloud service, written guidelines on submission, and where necessary assistance to Regional Centres on using the SC-20 template, etc.;

Digital publishing to research, consult, design, and produce the SC-20 Storymap.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications: - a master’s degree in communications, or Marketing, or similar field,
Experience: - excellent audio-visual film and editing skills in order to research, conceive, design and create the video package;
- excellent graphic design, software and social media skills, in order to make the packages user-friendly to staff and partners;
- knowledge of the BRS conventions in general, particularly the Stockholm Convention.
Language: - For this consultancy, fluency in oral and written English is required.
