Result of Service

- Completion of the delivery of scripted/subtitled videos of animated discussions for the SDG Zone as well as social optimized videos
- Completion of the delivery of visual products, such as social media cards
- UNIC Tokyo’s messages reach target audience effectively

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of UNIC Tokyo, the individual contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. Assisting preparation of a shooting and editing plan for successful delivery of the SDG Zone in Tokyo timed with Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer 2021, bringing together athletes, officials, business leaders, content creators, influencers, activists and media partners to highlight actions and solutions in support of the SDGs through the power of sports.
2. Shoot/record SDG Zone sessions.
3. Create short intro with animation and overall branding/layout formats for the SDG Media Zone.
4. Insert SDG Media Zone bug and captions to the video as needed.
5. Edit all videos with consistency, including inserting script capturing and subtitling (script captures/subtitles to be provided), referring to the guidelines on branding and video production provided by the UN Department of Global Communications.
6. Produce short, optimized videos for Facebook, Instagram / Instagram Stories and Twitter, in close consultation with UNIC Tokyo social media team
7. Perform other duties as required by UNIC Tokyo.
8. Scope of the Video Production project is subject to changes in accordance with a final decision with regards to organization of Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer 2021.
Consultant is expected to possess equipment and software, especially Adobe Premier, necessary to complete the above duties.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required
- University degree or professional training college diploma is desirable.
Experience:
- At least 3-year professional experience(s) in video production, including video shooting and video editing, and social media communication are required.
- Professional experience with online events/online interviews is desirable.
- Experience in video production for social media dissemination is desirable.
- Professional experience with international organizations is desirable.
Language:
- Fluency in Japanese required.
- Working knowledge of English required.
