The purpose of the assignment is to provide assistance to HRMS with regard to specific activities strengthening an inclusive and enabling work culture, including administrative and reporting support.

The contractor will perform the assigned functions under the overall guidance of the Team Leader, Talent Development Team, and in collaboration with the HRMS Diversity Coordinator and the Office of the Chief, HRMS, and will be based in Vienna.
The contractor will be requested to work 20 days per month over the period 11 April to 8 July 2022.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Talent Development Team, and in collaboration with the HRMS Diversity Coordinator and the Office of the Chief, HRMS, the following tasks will be carried out:
• Support the Talent Development Team and the Staffing, Diversity and Outreach Section with activities in the context of the development of the updated UNOV/UNODC Strategy for Gender Equality and the Empowerment for Women
• Support the coordination of awareness raising events in the context of the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy, including coordination, communication and follow up activities for events in collaboration with Zero Project and My Ability.
• Draft talking points, email communication, concept notes, power point presentations, newsletter and iSeek articles as well as other material, as applicable, pertaining to disability inclusion, gender equality, and addressing racism.
• Support the Talent Development Team with Learning and Development activities, as required.
• Assist with the external dissemination of the disability inclusion video on social media as widely as possible and among international disability networks to promote UNOV/UNODC’s profile as inclusive employer
• Other duties as required.
Academic Qualifications: High school diploma required
Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative setting is required
• Fundamental planning and organizational administrative skills are required
• Experience in the field of diversity inclusion and in particular in disability inclusion is desirable, including in organization of internal and external outreach events/material.
• Experience working for international organizations is desirable.
Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written English is required.
