Result of Service

The deliverables of the consultant will include:
The consultant, in close collaboration with ESCWA's Social Protection Team, is expected to perform the following tasks:
- Provide a review - in track changes - of the technical accuracy and appropriateness of the Arabic translation of the full set of materials of the comprehensive social protection training package TRANSFORM vis-à-vis the original English version of the materials. The overall TRANSFORM package consists of the following sub-packages to be technically reviewed for accuracy, consistency, and appropriateness of language:
- 8 summary documents in WORD format, variying in length between 30 to 50 pages each;
- full set of PPT presentation for the entire course (300 slides);
- 5 activity guides for course work (4 to 5 pages each);
- 5 facilitation guides for course work (4 to 5 pages each);
- 3 activty materials (10 pages each).

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a technical field related to social protection e.g. actuarial science, social sciences, economics, or other related academic background is required.
Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in a work environment related to social protection (e.g. social security organization).
Experience in writing high-quality reports in Arabic is required.
Experience in the Arab region is required.
Language: Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
