¿ Monitor various sources for new content and information about what is happening in and around ITSC (events, projects, …)
¿ Preparing well-structured drafts utilizing Content Management Systems (WordPress)
¿ Develop original and valuable content for ITSC portal.
¿ Submit work to editors for input and approval
¿ Identify ITSC needs and gaps in our content to be more creative and oriented for customers
¿ Conduct in-depth research and work with clients to define ITSC needs and recommend new topics
¿ Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies and polishing existing content to improve readability
¿ Conduct keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the ITSC portal.
¿ Assure consistency for textual styles, pictures, and fonts in the content and
¿ Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
¿ Carry out other similar tasks as may be assigned.
Academic Qualifications:
¿ A Bachelor's degree or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in Communications, marketing, journalism, English language, or related field.
Experience:
¿ A minimum of 3 years of experience for a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year for a master's degree in content writing or related fields. A candidate with IT technical background is preferred.

Conditions of service
¿ The duration of the consultancy is 4 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
¿ Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,410.70 USD, depending on the qualifications and relevant experience.
¿ The incumbent will be only in Gaza.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
IMTD will lead the implementation and design of the IT service center portal which aims to improve communication and outreach with the community. The sitemap is carefully designed to reflect the Centre’s information architecture in a way that is easily understood by visitors. This includes an overview of the ITSC and its rationale, service catalogue, events, and vacancies.
Accordingly, a project proposed one position of Content Writer to help with writing the content of the portal, showcasing activities, sharing updates and announcements, and digital marketing.
The consultant will report administratively to IMTD Software factory team leader Headquarter Gaza.
