Under the supervision of Senior Technology Assistant, the Network Technician must
1. Provide supports and services to the LAN and Fiber Optic (FO) cable infrastructure, such as lay/pullout, crimp, test LAN connection, etc. for ESCAP and its Tenants.
2. Install, maintains, troubleshooting, fixes and repairs LAN/FO UTP cable and network patch accessories through the wireway of ESCAP buildings and Data Centers independently.

Within delegated authority, the consultant responsible for the following duties:
1. Installs and assembles structured LAN /FO horizontal/vertical cables, outlets, conduits, RJ-45 plug and wiring of LAN UTP/FO cables.
2. Diagnoses as well as repairs or replace faulty LAN user patch cords and RJ-45 plug and modular.
3. Maintain a proper patch cord index number at destination outlet and originate patch panels in telecommunication closet, and patch to switches.
4. Performs the helpdesk work orders related to the LAN systems
5. Liaises and responds to clients' requests on the requirements relating to LAN systems.
6. Performs other related tasks as assigned by the IT Operations Supervisor.
Minimum Technical college or vocational school certificate or diploma in electrical or computer system.
Minimum 3 years' experience in providing related services in LAN horizontal cable in the building.
2 years' hands-on experience in structured LAN cable infrastructure and hands-on experience in network utility tools, lay cable in corporate LAN environment, crimping/splicing, labeling, TCP/IP protocols, OSI layers, IP address, mac address, DHCP, DNS and network switches will be preferred.
Must have fluency in writing and speaking Thai and fair capability in writing and speaking English.
