UN in Armenia is supporting the Government of Armenia with the identification and selection of viable investment project proposals for presentation at the upcoming Spring 2023 SDG Investment fair. Identification and selection of investment project will take into consideration project maturity incl. risk assessment, feasibility and other criteria. If needed, the consultant will also support providing substantial feedback towards improving the project proposals and enhancing project readiness.
The expected contribution of the consultant will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Support the development of screening and selection methodology to assess submitted investment project in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Martirosyan, Enterprise Armenia and the SDG Investment Fair team.
• Facilitate the selection process of investment projects in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Martirosyan, Enterprise Armenia and Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia.
• Develop a ToR of the feasibility study to be undertaken for the selected investment project/s.
Advanced university degree (Masters and equivalent) in Financial Management, Financial analysis, MBA, Econometrics, or related field is required.
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in developing and evaluating investment projects, including experience with ESG is required.
Prior experience of developing ToRs for investment projects feasibility studies is desired.
Previous experience of working with Big Four is desirable.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Armenian is required; knowledge of Russian is an asset.
