Org. Setting and Reporting

The incumbent is responsible to the assigned Deputy Principal of Training Centre through the
appropriate Senior Vocational Training Instructor.


In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:
•Organizes and develops the subject of specialization;
•Ensures the proper implementation of the subject syllabus and the evaluation of its
effectiveness under the direction of the supervisors concerned;
•Coordinates the teaching of the subject with subjects taught by other Instructors;
•Maintains records and controls different supplies of the section and ensures proper utilization
of the facilities and equipment;
•Participates in co-curricular activities in the Centre and in different summer courses when
•Participates with other staff members in maintaining order and discipline in the Center;
•Performs such other duties as may be assigned

• Technical Instructor "C" Grade 10 :
A university degree in an approved course of study with major specialization in the field of
subject taught.
• Technical Instructor "B" Grade 11 :
(a)A university degree in an approved course of study with major specialization in the field of
subject taught plus successful completion of a special professional teacher in-service training
course of at least one year duration
(b)Advanced university degree in a subject relevant to his/her field of specialization or in
education or psychology
(c)A university degree requiring at least five years of study with major specialization in the
field of subject taught.
•Technical Instructor "A" Grade 12:
(a) A university degree of four or five years of study with major specialization in the field of
subject taught plus successful completion of a special professional teacher in-service training
course of at least one year duration
(b) Advanced university degree in a subject relevant to his/her field of specialization or in
education or psychology

Work Experience

Technical Instructor "C" Grade 10
•No experience is required
for Technical Instructor "B" Grade 11
•Two years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience
as Technical Instructor "C" for holders of university degrees of four years duration is
•No experience for Advanced degree holders is required.
•No experience for holders of university degrees of five years duration is required.
Technical Instructor "A" Grade 12
•Two years of satisfactory teaching experience as Technical Instructor "B" for holders of
relevant first university degrees is required.OR
•Two years of satisfactory teaching experience as Technical Instructor "B" or "C" for holders
of relevant advanced university degrees is required.


Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic

Special Notice

Contract Status : Fixed-Term Appointment for 3 years ; including 1 year probation period,
with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory
performance and continuing need.

Benefits :

-Grade 12, Monthly Salary JD 780.00.Fils.
