¿ Assist with communications programme implementation.
¿ Build documents, templates, and presentations.
¿ Manage web design and development.
¿ Publish stories/blogs across various communications channels.
¿ Collaborate with internal departments to deliver marketing collateral.
¿ Assist in curating news, sales sheets, and information briefs.
¿ Perform other duties as required
Academic Qualifications:
A university degree or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in English language, Communications, Business Administration, or other related disciplines;
Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience for a bachelor's degree and 3 years for a master's degree in communications or related fields;
• Understanding of communications programs, preferably in a UN setting;
• Experience in synthesizing, quality-assuring, editing, and compiling relevant information;
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills;
• High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision;
• High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity;
• Teamwork, creativity, the accuracy of detailed project work, sense of humor, interest to learn new things and be part of a humanitarian mission;
• Ability to deliver quality results.
Language:
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
Service conditions:
• The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
• Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,500 USD, depending on the qualifications and relevant experience.
• The incumbent can be in any UNRWA field of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank).

United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC) is a UN agency that provides IT services to other UN agencies on a cost-recovery basis.
UNRWA Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) is seeking a Communications Consultant for support in ongoing and new communications projects with an emphasis on writing news stories, delivering social media, designing graphics and videos, supporting UX and information management/publication at the UNICC pubic website, and managing projects for the communications program.
