1) The conventions’ four websites graphic design and templates are updated to facilitate access to information from mobile devices and tablets.
a) At least three options are provided for a new layout structure for the homepages of the four BRS websites (see output 1a in the Work Assignments section).
b) Static pictures of graphic design mock-ups are created for the four BRS websites home pages and inner pages that are new, modern and user-friendly, ensuring consistency with inner pages of the websites (see output 1b in the Work Assignments section).
c) Developed interactive mock-ups (HTML, CSS, images and JavaScripts) with the new designs for the four BRS websites home pages and inner pages that can be viewed in a web browser and include any required animated elements and facilitate the integration of the new graphic design in the Secretariat websites content management system (see output 1c in the Work Assignments section).
d) Graphic charter and guidance document provided for web developers and Secretariat (see output 1d in the Work Assignments section).
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in web design, web development, graphic design or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
At least five years of proven experience in websites graphic design, including for mobile devices and tablets, user interfaces interactivity and information analysis from complex institutional websites and databases are required
At least five years of proven experience in web graphic design, modern websites user interfaces design and computer programming, including advanced programming skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery are required
At least five years of proven experience of delivering graphic design for large institutional or governmental websites is also required
Experience in designing websites under the DotNetNuke Content Management System and Kendo UI are desired
Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
