b) Coordinate the organization of high-level stakeholders meeting in various areas, including trafficking in persons, CT/CFT, and Management of Seized asset.
c) Develop tailored training packages for various audiences including media, communities, first responders, social services and criminal justice practitioners in Mozambique in various areas, including trafficking in persons and CT/CFT.
d) Develop and deliver training-of-trainers courses in the areas of counterterrorism and counter-terrorist financing for prosecutors, investigators and law enforcement officials.
e) Support the coordinate and delivery of mock trial activities in the areas of counterterrorism and counter-terrorist financing for prosecutors and judges.
f) Support and coordinate the delivery of other CT/CFT activities, as needed.
g) Deliver training on the UNODC teaching modules to universities in Mozambique

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programme Office the consultant will perform the following tasks:
a) Develop and deliver training on TIP and SOM for prosecutors and investigators

c) Develop tailored training packages for various audiences including media, communities, first responders, social services and criminal justice practitioners in Mozambique in various areas, including trafficking in persons and CT/CFT.
d) Develop and deliver training-of-trainers courses in the areas of counterterrorism and counter-terrorist financing for prosecutors, investigators and law enforcement officials.

- An advanced university degree (Masters’ Degree or equivalent) in Law, Criminology, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations or Criminal Justice, Crime prevention, Human Rights, and/or Law Enforcement is required. A first level university degree in similar fields, in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of professional work experience in crime prevention and criminal justice areas with a specific focus on trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, including through direct work with multi-stakeholders bodies at national level is required;
- Proven experience in delivering workshops to develop legislation, policy, national strategies and action plans, as well as facilitation of high-level multi-stakeholder processes is desirable;
- Previous experience working with UN and/or Government entities is desirable;
- Good knowledge of local, regional and global human trafficking developments is desirable;
- Previous experience in Mozambique is desirable;
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations. For this post, fluency in oral and written English and Portuguese is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations Secretariat language is an advantage.
